"An opening partnership of 39 runs by Mike & Marty really got OWC off to a great start and the momentum kept going. OWC was on 76 runs by 10 overs and went on after the split innings to reach a best ever total of 146 (for 20 overs). Tim open the bowling with a tight 1 run first over, while Adrian saw his first two balls head out of the park. Adrian came back well with a caught and bowled, three other catches and a run out. OWC's fielding was top notch with no missed opportunities. There were flashes of brilliance like Marty's direct hit run out and Paul's catch behind the stumps. Andrew felt the new rule of 3 wickets and have a spell - he took those 3 wickets in his first two overs. Captain Flynn was jubilant with taking the OWC team to its first ever victory."
