About Old Whitefriars Cricketers

The motivation of OWC is to enjoy playing a good standard of competitive social cricket with our Friars mates against gallant foe in the true spirit of cricket. Many of the players for OWC are old boys in whom are no longer able (or wish) to commit playing competition cricket every weekend.

OWC functions in a social capacity and has begun as a non-financial collection of old boys where any costs are funded by players on 'as use' basis. OWC increasing the connection of old boys with the school and the Whitefriars Old Collegians Association. OWC promotes the school's name in good spirit and places Whitefriars among elite schools to have an old boy cricket team. All cricket loving old boys are encouraged to join (owc@cricboard.com).
